Awards & Accolades
Every person working at Kaiser Permanente is part of the team that helps us earn our awards and accolades. We are proud and honored to have received the following:
Twenty-five Kaiser Permanente Colorado medical offices and nearly 375 CPMG Primary Care Physicians have earned top-level Patient-Centered Medical Home designations from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for their patient-centered care, integrated teams, coordination and tracking over time.
Kaiser Permanente offers the top-rated Private and Medicare health insurance plans in Colorado, according to new rankings by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Our Private and Medicare health plans have each consistently been ranked No. 1 in Colorado since 2008.
Kaiser Permanente has the highest rated Medicare plans everywhere it operates, according to the latest ranking by U.S. News & World Report. Kaiser Permanente Colorado's Medicare Advantage health plan received the highest possible score and stands alone as the No. 1 Medicare Advantage plan in the state.
Each year, ColoradoBiz Magazine readers are asked to choose Colorado companies and businesses they think deserve a Best of Colorado Business Choice Award. These are the companies CoBiz readers trust most to take care of their families, friends and co-workers. In the Health category for 2016, Kaiser Permanente Colorado was voted as Colorado's Best Health Insurer for the second consecutive year.
Each year, 5280 Magazine asks more than 7,500 area doctors, "Which metro area physicians would you trust to treat you or your family?" And for the past 20 years, our physicians have been repeatedly singled out (many of them numerous times) by their fellow physicians as some of the most trusted physicians in the Denver Metro medical community. Our most recent Top Docs' specialties include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, OB/Gyn, Vascular Surgery, Neurology, Geriatric Psychiatry and Pulmonary Disease. Doctors are listed by the hospital where they practice.
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Center for Disease Control and Prevention – Million Hearts Hypertension Control Champion
In 2012, Kaiser Permanente Colorado was named one of the first two national Million Hearts Hypertension Control Champions by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for achieving blood pressure control rates among more than 80 percent of our members with high blood pressure. The Million Hearts program is a national, public and private initiative by HHS and the CDC to prevent 1 million heart attacks and strokes over five years.
